Job Description
Summary
The Die Maintenance/Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning all dies (molds) as well as the minor repair of molds and associated tooling.
Die Maintenance
Perform general maintenance related to injection mold die cleaning, komatsu and 550 dies according to planned schedule.
Perform minor daily routine/preventive maintenance, checks and minor repair to tooling as required.
Trouble shoot any damage issues on dies
Quality
Complete all forms and paperwork as required to maintain proper record of completed work.
Maintain records on spare parts inventory and assist in ordering spare parts as associated with die cleanings.
Administrative
Follow all safety procedures when working on or around the equipment. Insure safety of your co-workers when cleaning dies.
Maintain work area (5S) and equipment in a safe, neat and orderly condition.
Authority to stop production, if necessary, to correct a quality problem related to the production process.
High school diploma or GED
Machining experience a plus
Previous experience working with dies/molds preferred
Experience working with injection mold dies
This job requires a basic command of the English
